Bacon's 4 idols are:
1 Of the tribe
2of the cave
3of the market place
4of the theater
Idols of the tribe have to do with the bias of human beings, how they jump to conclusions and tend not to accept anything new, they just keep with what they know instead of trying to understand what is true
Idols of the cave are creating biases against individuals in things like school or other educational systems, this is like the allegory of the cave.
idols of the Marketplace have to do with language created to share knowledge
Idols of the Theater have to do with understanding the world like how the christian welst listends to 4 of five Greek scholars

How was Galileo's Daughter Essential to his Writings
Galileo's daughter was one of the most important things that helped Galileo to write his books and publish them. His daughter took care of him, fed him, medicated him, she did everything for him. Not only was she essential to Galileo's writings she was probably essential in keeping him alive! Anyway, it really was important that Galileo's daughter helped him or we might not ever had heard of Galileo in general.
St. Thomas Aquinas Five ways
the way I think is the most wrong is the first one: argument from motion. this way states that things cannot move them selves unless acted on by an outside source. I do not think this is true because if using this theory then how could the first thing to move ever move? there is no way to prove this. Also i can move myself, i have control, I do not think that this theory makes a lot of sense.
Just War Theory
In the theory of just war almost any war can be justified by saying that it is a war for the cause of god. this Philosophy by St. Augustine makes it so that virtually any war can be fought by saying that it is for god or by saying that it will eventually lead to peace. Truly this manner of thinking is very corrupt, and in truth it does not make much sense. Their is not way some wars can be justified but according to Augustine any can.

Falicy in "On Nation and Race"l
In this piece of text Hitler states that "Segregation of all living things on earth is natural" the analogy made here is completely false so this type of fallacy is called a faulty analogy. This analogy states all living things are segregated and we should do the same. The faultiness of this is that in nature different species of animals segregate not different ethnicity or religions of these animal. To compair segrigating people by race and belief to this is simply false, it is just in no way right. This fallacy may have made some people believe Hitler, but truthfully it is very faulty.

Intellegent Design vs. Evolution
Though both of these two beliefs have things that disprove them the amount of proof for evolution is much much more than the amount of proof there is for Intelligent Design. In fact even though you can say evolution should not be taught for reasons like its fossil records are not consistent there is quite literally no proof whatsoever for Intelligent Design. I believe whichever theory of creation is most credible and can be backed up by the most proof is what should be taught in schools. There is no question that it is Evolution which prevails in doing this. Though there are things that stand against evolution it is the most widely accepted and best theory we have today and should not be replaced in school by intelligent design.

Deductive Reasoning
Syllogisms make a generalization then state a subject and based on the generalization a conclusion is made about the subject this is less clear than what is presented in Modus Ponens and Modus Tollens in these representation of deductive reasoning it is much more straight forward and easier to conlclude. A Modus Ponen says if p then q, it states that if something is true about one thing it is true about another Ex. if i someone is Breathing, then they are alive. this is a very easy conclusion to make for example you could say that this means i am breating so i am alive. this is similar to Modus Tollens whis say if not p then not q, the difference is that in this the premise is false instead of true. in this example the conclusion is just as easy to make
ex. if i someone is not breathing then they are not alive
a conclusion could be "if George is not breathing then he is not alive"
Modus Tollens and Modus Ponens are very similar and are easy to tell apart becasue one is positive and one negative.
